Past the Pandemic: Mental Well-being for You and Your Patients

Fall dates to be announced.

Past the Pandemic: This ECHO series offers health care providers and other staff working in health care settings strategies to navigate, normalize and hold space for worries and experiences during this pandemic. Each session provides helpful, tangible tools in a psychoeducational, didactic format. By understanding stress along a continuum, participants will learn how to manage stress and loss, increase capacity to prevent burnout, elevate connectedness and mindfulness, and promote quality patient care.

The first two sessions are required, as they are foundational to the rest of the series and will introduce language and concepts that will be woven throughout the remaining sessions.  To ensure that registrants have the information from the first two sessions, recordings will be provided upon request if attendance is not possible.  Attendance and presence are encouraged for all sessions, however, as this is an interactive series.

Goal - To recognize signs and symptoms of stress and burnout, prevent impact of stress injury, build competence in responding to stress in the Pandemic, and promote connection with other health care workers during this time.

Series Objectives:

  1. Participants will recognize the centrality of social connectedness to manage the COVID-19 crises.
  2. Participants will gain an understanding of the Stress Continuum model.
  3. Participants will learn to utilize tools to mitigate stress injury impact, such as Individualized resiliency Planning, stress management techniques, communication skills, and mindfulness practices.
  4. Participants will feel supported by the ECHO series community.
  5. Participants will know when and how to obtain mental health resources.
